My work seeks to explore our human connection with the natural world and the inner world. Through traditional mediums ranging from watercolor to ceramics I am interested in the places where color and line can bring us to the same moment of insight and epiphany that the wonders of the natural world can bring at any moment.

As a ceramicist, my goal and vision is to create shapes and images that engage. As a person enthralled with nature my hope is to convey what I find there. While drawing from the inspiration found in that natural world around us and our connection to it, along with the work of modern and historic artistic expression, I hope to continue my creative search.

Most of my clay work is hand-building using various techniques that range from templates, imprints, additive, and subtractive. I mid-fire my pottery pieces that are both functional and decorative.

Once upon a time there was a happy momma who went back to school to play with clay. The joy of playing with clay enriched her life so much. Since then she has made many things she had to share them all with the world.
